Reviews & Testimonials

  • Attention to the whole person

August 9, 2021: James not only worked on his fundamentals in dribbling, passing and shooting, he learned a lot about the hallmarks of success in any area with attention given to the need for practice, perseverance, leadership skills, etc. The players were encouraged to work together and to root for one another as well. I love the attention given to the whole person.

  • Truly a special camp!

The Beestera Camp was absolutely wonderful. Noticeably better than the standard soccer (or any) camp. It was so well organized and thought out- there were clear goals, much emphasis on those goals, cumulative activities that built as the days progressed, and a lot of thought put into strategy and how to always keep all kids engaged. For example, when specific groups of kids were actively playing, the non-playing groups always had jobs to do (refing, keeping stats, etc). This keeps them engaged the entire time. The coaches all struck that ideal balance of being experts in their craft, encouraging competition, but also emphasizing the need to take chances and be okay with the “uncomfortable” feeling of learning and trying new things (and likely failing at first). The coaches were fun and positive but also kept the “gaming/competitive” nature in there. Truly a special, special camp!

  • Best experience at a soccer camp

August 12, 2021: Sofia absolutely loved everything about the camp. Although she was slightly intimidated by the length of the day at first, and the number of players when she first arrived, it was her best experience at a soccer camp! The goals you set for the weekly, all day camp, were met and exceeded in my opinion. Sofia has grown not only as a soccer player, but as an athlete AND as a person. Your camp has stuck by its motto of developing the whole person while creating the most authentic experience possible even with the challenging large size of the camp! Great experience!
