  • staff was great!

August 16, 2016: The staff was great at the OSU Nike camp this year! This was our first year doing the camp ... my 8th grade son did the Day Camp from 9am - 5pm. He is already looking forward to staying for the entire week next year. I really appreciated the evaluation that Ethan was given at the conclusion of camp. It was very helpful to see where his strengths and weaknesses are ... and give him guidance on what to work on. I appreciate the time it took to evaluate him (and each player!), and additionally taking the time for specific written comments and encouragement. Thank you!

    • 5/5.
  • Coaches were personable and professional

July 31, 2017: Everyone was so nice. I made the mistake of bringing Ethan to camp the wrong week, and the staff was so gracious and accommodating. It was easy to leave Ethan - knowing he'd be in great hands. The coaches and staff were very personable, professional, and trustworthy. He gained new skills which has increased his confidence.

  • the energy and passion expressed by the staff was infectious!

July 27, 2019: Our son had an exceptional time at tennis camp at the OSU campus. He had a broken collar bone prior to the camp and the director and coaches were able to customize the program so that he could participate and have a fulfilled experience. I was so pleased with the quality of service and product presented by all involved. The energy and passion for tennis expressed by the coaches and staff was infectious. Thank you so much!

July 27, 2019: The variety of input from a large number of coaches combined with the intensity of the camp and drills broke bad habits and established good ones in their place.

  • Coaches made sure to challenge him even though he was one of the better players

July 27, 2019: Our son started at this camp at 10 yrs old. This year he is 16. This camp to him is now like a family reunion. He looks forward to seeing Ross and many of the assistant coaches that comeback year after year. He’s usually closer to the top of the still level when he’s there but he is still able to grow as a player and Ross makes sure he is challenged.

  • Learned a lot

August 11, 2017: My son learned a lot and said the instructors and other campers were very encouraging. This was great since he is very new to tennis. He asked if he can do it again next year.

  • Encouraging coaches

August 11, 2018: Brooke enjoyed meeting the coaches and a variety of kids who share a love for tennis. She also enjoyed the team games that gave her the opportunity to play with mixed level of experience. The end of day games were super fun for her! This is only constructive feedback - coach Ben was the only coach that stood out to me this week as bordering on too intense and not as encouraging as the other coaches. Your shining star was coach Carson. Such a fun, encouraging coach and you can tell he loves kids!! Hope he’s back next year!

  • great first-overnight camp experience

8/9/2014 - My 11 year old daughter had a great, first-overnight camp ever experience. She had a very difficult time that first night, up until 1:30am and called me 4 times. I spoke with the camp counselor, and he was very supportive and very calm at 1:30am. I felt my daughter was with someone competent, and we got over that initial hurdle with no other issues after that. I appreciated his compassion. Also, my daughter left the camp much more interested in tennis than when she entered the camp, which is great! I also appreciated that ALL the kids received an award at the end.
