Nike Basketball Camps
Come train with Elite Greater Sacramento Area Trainer, Ryan Sypkens, and his experienced coaching staff at Touch Shooting! Our Nike Basketball Camps are designed to give players a complete, well-rounded experience — developing both their individual skills and basketball IQ while helping them grow as confident, competitive athletes.
At Touch Shooting, we’re excited to offer two age-specific camp experiences so every athlete can learn, grow, and have fun:
Jr. Camp (Ages 5–9)
Our youngest campers will spend each morning learning basketball fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. We’ll focus on developing coordination, basic skills, and confidence — all while keeping the energy high and the game exciting. The goal is to help each young athlete build a strong foundation and a lifelong love for basketball.
Elite Camp (Ages 9–15)
Older athletes will experience a more advanced, full-day camp that builds both skills and confidence on and off the court.
Morning Sessions: Skills, Drills & Team IQ
Each morning, players focus on sharpening their fundamentals — shooting, ball-handling, footwork, and finishing — while also developing their basketball IQ. Through guided instruction and small-group work, athletes learn team concepts like spacing, decision-making, and defensive principles that help them play smarter and more effectively.
Afternoon Sessions: Compete & Apply
In the afternoons, players put their skills to work in live gameplay. Scrimmages and competitive scenarios give athletes the chance to apply what they’ve learned, developing teamwork, communication, and leadership in real game settings.
Highlights Include
- Thursday: Tournament-style competition where players showcase their skills and compete in a fun, high-energy environment.
- Friday: All-Star Games to close out the week — celebrating each athlete’s improvement, effort, and love for the game. Parents are invited to watch their players show out!
- Awards Ceremony: At the end of camp, coaches will host a special Awards Ceremony to recognize standout campers. A few select awards will be given to players who demonstrate exceptional growth, effort, teamwork, leadership, and positive attitude — celebrating not only skill development, but the character and dedication that define great athletes.
- Each camper will receive a Nike Basketball Camp t-shirt, wristband, lanyard, and a personalized evaluation form completed by Coach!
