Recreational Sport Camp Counselor
We are seeking energetic and responsible Recreational Sport Camp Counselors to lead and supervise campers in various sports and recreational activities (multi-sport, soccer, and flag football camps offered and vary by location). The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, a background in sports or recreation, and the ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere. Nike Multi-Sport Camps offer fun and inclusive recreational sport camps that are designed to introduce children to a variety of sports, games, and activities in a supportive and engaging environment. We offer recreational multi-sport, soccer, and flag football camps for children of all ages and skill levels to enjoy (specific camp offerings vary by location). We are seeking energetic and responsible Recreational Sport Camp Counselors to lead and supervise campers in various sports and recreational activities (multi-sport, soccer, and flag football camps offered and vary by location). Key Responsibilities:
Lead and instruct campers in a variety of sports, games, and recreational activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by following camp policies and procedures.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for campers of all skill levels.
Assist with setup and cleanup of sports equipment and camp facilities.
Communicate effectively with fellow staff members, campers, and parents as needed.
Respond appropriately to any behavioral or medical incidents following camp protocols.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Experience working with children in a camp, sports, or educational setting preferred.
Background in sports, recreation, physical education, or a related field is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout the camp day.
Must pass a background check.
Availability Monday through Wednesday for at least 1 of the following time periods: November 24-26, December 22-24, and December 29-31.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Seasonal position with flexible scheduling options.
Each site varies, but our Fall and Winter Break camps will take place November 24-26, December 22-24, and December 29-31
Typical work hours vary depending on camp sessions (e.g., full-day or half-day shifts).
Fall and Winter Break camps run Monday through Wednesday, 7:30AM-4:00PM.
Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.

Camp Director, US Sports Camps/Nike Sports Camps

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a background in sports or recreation, the ability to manage all program operations on site, and a passion for driving overall growth of the camp. Directors should have experience leading people, organizing, implementing, and managing a vast range of activities across several groups.
We are seeking Camp Directors to run camps in the following locations:
- Alameda, California
- Hatfield, Pennsylvania
- Richmond, Virginia
- Saco, Maine
Key Role Responsibilities:
Staffing:
- Hire all camp staff - including assistant director(s) and coaches (total staff will depend on registration numbers)
- Schedule staff hours for camp based on registration numbers and coach availability
- Ensure background checks on assistant directors and coaches are completed prior to the start of camp
Curriculum:
- Develop an engaging and fun curriculum with games and activities that are tailored to our camp programs (programs vary by location but can range from: multi-sport, soccer, flag football)
On-Site Camp Logistics:
- Be the first staff member to arrive on site and the last member to leave
- Responsible for setting up equipment for daily meetings with coaches, check-in areas for parents, and games and activities for campers
- Responsible for maintaining a clean camp environment and ensuring equipment is gathered at the end of the camp day
- Engage with parents to answer questions and address concerns
- Communicate with US Sports Camps to address registration questions
- Collaborate with the General Manager at the Sofive/XL Sports World facility for on-site logistics (i.e. getting lights turned on, etc.)
- Respond appropriately to any behavioral or medical incidents following camp protocols.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by following camp policies and procedures.
Payroll:
- Track staff hours for payment
Marketing:
- Engage with returning campers to promote additional weeks of enrollment
- Identify opportunities to drive additional promotions and marketing throughout the camp day
Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing youth programs/camps
- Experience working in a school system or possessing strong contacts with teachers and child care professionals is preferred
- Ability to create engaging, sport/skill-specific curriculum for multiple weeks of camp
- Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, sport management or commensurate experience
- Prior experience with staff supervision and development
- Ability to build solid relations and expand upon current collaborations
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CPR, First Aid, and Epi-pen certification (must be certified or willing to earn certification prior to the start of camp)
Work Schedule & Compensation:
This is a contract position
Each site varies, but our Fall and Winter Break camps will take place November 24-26, December 22-24, and December 29-31 of 2025.
Fall and Winter Break camps run Monday through Wednesday, 7:30AM-4:00PM.
Monetary compensation includes a $500-$750 stipend per camp week (3 days of camp each week).
